a declaration

if you can't
feel my heart
on the page;
can't read
my blood, sweat
and tears
between each word;
glimpse my soul
within each line,
then
I'm not doing
something right
and then
it might be
time
to stop writing,
to cease
and desist...
and I will
never be
ready
to do that.
